Sunny Studio Stamps - Sydney Alphabet Dies
Hello Friends,
Today I’m sharing a spring-inspired card featuring the versatile Sydney Alphabet Dies. Alphabet dies are always a great tool to have in your collection since they allow you to create custom sentiments that perfectly match your card design.
To begin, I stamped the beautiful floral images from the Spring Garland Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using a light gray ink. I then colored the flowers with Copic markers to create a soft no-line coloring effect, which gives the florals a delicate and natural look.
COPIC COLOR
Florals: G14, G40, Y11, Y15, Y19, YG03,YG17, YG63, YR000, YR61, YR65
Background : B000, B12
After finishing the coloring, I used the Icing Rectangle Frame Dies to cut the panel and create a clean frame for the design.
Next, I prepared the focal sentiment for this card. Using the Sydney Alphabet Dies, I die cut the phrase “JUST FOR YOU!” three times and stacked the letters together with glue to add a bit of dimension and make the sentiment stand out against the floral background.
For the smaller sentiment, I chose a sweet phrase from the Woolly Friends Stamps and heat embossed it in white on black cardstock for a nice contrast. Finally, I assembled all the elements using foam tape and glue to add dimension and bring the whole card together.
I hope this card brings you a little bit of spring inspiration!
