Sunny Studio Stamps - Afternoon Tea Stamps
Hi there!
There’s something especially meaningful about creating a Mother’s Day card, and today’s project is inspired by that warm and heartfelt feeling.
I’m sharing a soft and elegant design featuring the beautiful Afternoon Tea Stamp set. I love how these delicate images capture a quiet, comforting moment, perfect for celebrating someone truly special.
To begin, I stamped the elegant images from the Afternoon Tea Stamp set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using a light brown ink. I then colored the images with Copic markers to bring out their soft and delicate details. Once finished, I used the coordinating Afternoon Tea Dies to cut them out neatly.
Next, I blended Distress Oxide ink in Worn Lipstick onto another piece of white cardstock, then used the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to emboss a beautiful pattern, completing the background with a soft and elegant finish.
Next, I die cut a frame from vellum paper using the Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies, then heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set onto it for a soft and elegant look. Finally, I assembled all the elements using foam tape to add a bit of dimension and bring the whole design together, completing today’s card just like you see in the photo.
